Marrakech to Zagora Desert Tour

This route takes you south from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and past Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert thanks to its famous kasbahs and film studios. From there, the road follows the Draa Valley, lined with palm groves and small villages, all the way to Zagora at the edge of the Sahara. In Zagora, you'll swap your vehicle for a camel and ride out to a desert camp for the night, with dinner under the stars and a chance to watch the sunset and sunrise over the dunes. The number of nights in Zagora is flexible — stay for one night or extend your stay in the desert for as long as you'd like.
